Orchards – Huw Stephens OTW 2019 Stream New B-Side ‘Mature Me

Returning from a triumphant trip Stateside for appearances at SXSW and New Colossus Festival, rapidly-rising Brighton alt-pop quartet ORCHARDS have shared new track ‘Mature Me’.

The song is the B-side from their brand new 7” single ‘Young’ which crashed straight onto Spotify UK’s New Music Friday playlist today. The single is out now via Big Scary Monsters and available on digital and physical formats from: https://orcd.co/newsingles

“Mature Me is about learning that you’re better than your past—that you can and will grow through everything,” explains vocalist Lucy Evers of the track.

Recently named as one of BBC Radio One new music champ Huw Stephens’ Ones To Watch 2019, the band are also delighted to announce they will support Jamie Lenman on his ‘Road To Lenmania’ tour in July, as well as revealing international festival appearances at Handmade Festival, The Great Escape, Koll an Aktioun, 2000 Trees, Blue Balls Festival, and YNOT Festival.

Orchards kicked off their first ever UK headline tour earlier this week—tickets are on sale now, with the London date at Camden Assembly and Bristol Crofters Rights dates already SOLD OUT.

2018 was a stellar year for Orchards, which saw them selling out their own debut headline London show; support slots with Hippo Campus, Fatherson and more; and a string of packed festival appearances at ArcTanGent, TRUCK, The Great Escape, and Hit The North, among many others.

Praise for the band’s material has been flooding in from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music, Noisey, The Line of Best Fit, DIY, Alternative Press, Pop Matters, DORK, UPSET and a host of blogs and zines.
