Best of Enemies release new single ‘Shake The Feeling’ with music video

Croydon pop-rock four-piece BEST OF ENEMIES have released a new track ‘Shake The Feeling’ alongside a music video filmed in the British seaside town of Brighton. The track is the second to be released from their upcoming EP ‘A Fear That Comes Around’, and the EP title is actually a lyric from this particular song.

Vocalist and guitarist Sam Christmas says of the new track, “We had the basic skeleton of this song for about two years but never knew where to go with it… It had so much potential that we couldn’t let it go so we dug it out again for this EP.” He adds, “The theme of the song is depression and how it can hit anyone, at anytime, and come and go as it pleases.”

The video was filmed by The Whitepine Video Co, who have produced videos for the likes of Hear Lies/City of Ashes. Sam says of the video, “Look out for the street art that says ‘Please excuse my depression, it has a mind of its own’. That really stuck with me…”

The new EP, set for release through Undead Collective Records on 24th April, is the follow up to their 2016 offering ‘Sorry State’. With 12 tracks whittled down to four for the EP, ‘A Fear That Comes Around’ was recorded at Stakeout Studios with Jason Wilson.
