2000trees Festival announces As It Is, Yonaka, Culture Abuse, A, Show Me The Body, Cancer Bats and more

The 4th 2000trees Festival band announcement is here – featuring some of the very best bands from across the globe and from here in the UK.

From 2000trees Festival organiser and main man James Scarlett – “I’m very proud of the Trees line up this year and I think the thing getting me most excited at the moment is the number of bands that feel like they are about to break big. If you don’t know all the bands from the following list then get on it now. Culture Abuse, Dune Rats, YONAKA, Free Throw, Drug Church, Gouge Away, ANGEL DU$T, Can’t Swim… I could go on!”

Bands announced today are – the mighty Brighton pop punk 5 piece As It Is, this years Cave Stage Friday headliner and all round brilliant humans-non stop touring machines-Canadian legends, Cancer Bats, the effortlessly cool YONAKA and UK ska young guns The Skints
Also playing will be the incredibly (Hi-Fi) Serious A, the live whirlwind that is Pulled Apart By Horses, one of the most exciting bands on the planet right now, Culture Abuse (check their recent incredible ‘Bay Dream’ right away!), Maryland USA 3 piece The Dangerous Summer, thrilling genre mash-up stars Vukovi, Dutch (genuine) mega stars DE STAAT and New York punk trio Show Me The Body (who will be completing the Thursday Axiom ‘Lenmania 2’ stage as main support to Jamie Lenman) and many more.

From PULLED APART BY HORSES – “2000trees has always been one of our favourite UK festivals. They hit the nail on the head every year with the line-up. Buzzing to come back this year with a couple of new tunes to play live. We can’t wait!”

ALSO new this year, and as part of 2000trees Festival commitment to eliminating unnecessary single-use plastic on site, this year they have partnered with UK charity, FRANK Water. FRANK will be on site with their Festival Refill Service to serve unlimited refills of filtered, chilled water. Just visit the FRANK Water refill stand or find one of the mobile FRANK Tanks to buy a FRANK refill bottle (prices from £6) or BYO refill bottle and buy a FRANK wristband (£3.50) to access the same unlimited refills of filtered, chilled water all weekend. Summer 2018 saw FRANK Water take their waste reducing, refill service to 13 UK music festivals where 222 volunteers served a whopping 135,638 refills of filtered, chilled water, potentially saving the same number of single-use plastic bottles. 100% of profit from sale of FRANK refill bottles and wristbands funds the charity’s life changing work in India and Nepal. Previously announced for the event include the three main stage headliners – Frank Turner(Thursday) and You Me At Six (Friday) and Deaf Havana (Saturday). The incredible Every Time I Die, who will be performing ‘Hot Damn’ in full (plus more) as headliners on The Cave stage on Saturday and Sheffield’s While She Sleeps (Cave Stage headliners on Thursday), returning festival hero Jamie Lenman (who will be curating, opening and closing his very own stage and mini festival, Lenmania 2, on the Axiom Stage on the Thursday – being the first act to be performing at this years event, on the Thursday early afternoon), the hugely anticipated first timer Frank Iero with his band Frank Iero And The Future Violents (headlining the Axiom Stage on the Saturday) and many more.
