Banshee reveal new single and EP details

Scottish alternative rock quartet BANSHEE reveal the music video for new single release ‘Bubble’, the title track of the band’s forthcoming EP, self released on the 29th March 2019.

When chatting about their new material the band said; “We all have a variable taste in music as individuals and love to bring those influences together to create our sound and build on our craft as songwriters and performers. ‘Bubble’ takes on a different output to anything we have released before.”

In 2018, BANSHEE released ‘You Said’, the first single from the EP, as a stand alone single; leading the quartet to play to a sold out Glasgow crowd. The rest of the year had the band focused on writing whilst playing numerous festivals slots and shows, including performing in their home town of Greenock for the first time in four years to another sold out crowd.

For fans of Blood Red Shows and The Cranberries, BANSHEE’s new release is more experimental than any previous offerings whilst remaining firmly within their alternative rock remit. Their sound takes on a slightly more pop and electronic edge but the roaring guitars, hammering rhythms and powerhouse vocals are still there in abundance!

In the past the band have supported the likes of Marmozets and Press To Meco, as well as playing prestigious festivals such as Download Festival at Donington Park and more. The band will be showcasing their new material at the forthcoming dates below:
