Jack Savoretti Reveals Video for Single ‘What More Can I Do?’

After the huge success of single ‘Candlelight’ which reached #8 on the Official Big Top 40, #4 on iTunes and has amassed over 2 million streams across Spotify and YouTube, Jack Savoretti today releases the video for his beautiful new single ‘What More Can I Do?’, taken from his highly anticipated new album ‘Singing To Strangers’, out March 15th on BMG.

The romantic video for ‘What More Can I Do?’ was, like ‘Candlelight’, directed by Charles Mehling (formerly of The Brian Jonestown Massacre) and shot in Rome, this time at Ennio Morricone’s studio where ‘Singing To Strangers’ was recorded. The video stars the impressive Alessandra Mastronardi (To Rome with Love, Master of None) and fades effortlessly between Jack’s pursuit of a lover through the beautiful Italian streets and studio shots performing with his incredible band.

The track perfectly blends the legacy and inspiration behind Jack’s music with contemporary pop-rock production, from the soaring strings through to the rasping tones of Jack’s vocal.  ’What More Can I Do?’ is the song I’ve always wanted to write,” says Jack. “In the past I have worn my heart on my sleeve with my lyrics but this is the first time I’ve allowed the melody to do so.”

Produced by Cam Blackwood (George Ezra) and recorded in Rome at Ennio Morricone’s studio this summer, the 12 track ‘Singing To Strangers’ features Jack’s acclaimed live band: guitarists Pedro Vito and Sam Lewis; bassist Sam Davies, drummer Jesper Lind, Davide Rossi (Coldplay, Goldfrapp) on strings and musical director Nikolai Torp on keys.
