The Lounge Kittens Release ‘Gold Dust’ Video

As they prepare to release their latest EP “Have Another…” and hit the road on a 15 date UK tour, THE LOUNGE KITTENS have dropped a video for the DJ Fresh club classic ‘Gold Dust’. Coming off the back of their other 2019 releases ‘The Middle’ by Jimmy Eat World and their heartfelt tribute to Avicii, focussing on mental health in the music industry, this latest offering is another hairpin bend in the rollercoaster ride of the Kittens.

“We were looking for some light relief after the seriousness of our last few tracks and we found it with Gold Dust,” continues Jen Kitten. “We wanted something where we could get back to basics and just have a right laugh with each other. And what’s more fun than dicking about with a shit-tonne of glitter!?!”

“It’s an absolute belter of a tune,” says Timia Kitten. “The kind you’d hear out in a club and instantly grab all your mates to sing-shout at the tops of your voices. We think it’ll really get the party started at the live shows.”

“Have Another…” is released this Friday, as the girls’ headline tour kicks off in Brighton. Having fallen foul of PledgeMusic’s current financial woes, the Kittens have been busting arse to make sure their fans aren’t disappointed. “It feels really good to get to this point,”says Zan Kitten. “It’s been a long slog and after the initial high of hitting our target in 24 hours, it’s turned into a massive ball of stress and financial strain, but we’re so happy the EP is finally coming out and the fans get to hear what we’ve been working on. Now we get to concentrate on the tour and hopefully we’ll see a financial u-turn from PledgeMusic, but we know our fans have got our backs whatever happens.”
