Simple Creatures announce London show

Simple Creatures, comprised of long-time friends Mark Hoppus (blink-182) and Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low),  have announced their debut London show at The Hangar on Wednesday 3rd April.  Tickets will go on sale this Friday 15th March at 9am and are available via the following link http://gigst.rs/SimCre

he band will also perform shows in select US cities in conjunction with the release of their debut EP, Strange Love, on March 29 on BMG. [See dates below].

The first two offerings from the EP, “Strange Love” and “Drug,”  are currently available as instant-grat tracks with album pre-order purchase on iTunes, while both songs are streaming across all digital platforms. The “Strange Love” video, directed by Megan Thompson and Erik Rojas can be seen below!

NME deemed “Strange Love” an “electro-tinged pop song,” while Brooklyn Vegan called “Drug” a “festival-ready alt-pop stomper.” Watch the lyric video for “Drug” HERE.

Simple Creatures evolved from a long-standing friendship and a musical kinship. Hoppus and Gaskarthtook a beat from their individual bands to have some fun in the studio, and came away with a new band with a new sound. “Strange Love kicks down Hoppus and Gaskarth’s songwriting guardrails and pushes into some of their most ambitious work yet,” declared Alternative Press.

“On paper, this collaboration between two of pop-punk’s most recognizable and commercially powerful songwriters should have proved entirely predictable – a crush of pit-friendly anthems and surging riffola. Except their latest out is anything but. The first single, ‘Drug’… an explosive rush of heavy-hearted pop that clatters and crackles with programmed drum breaks, scuzzy guitars and skittering melodies, with both singers sharing vocal duties,’ wrote Kerrang.
