Hurtling at full pelt into 2019 are Cardiff four-piece Young Garbo. The band have recently signed to Alan McGee’s Creation23 label, will release their debut single ‘Faustus’ on 8th March 2019. The track was recently This Feeling’s Radio X Track of the Week and the band are being championed by BBC Introducing.
Young Garbo have a no nonsense, straight in your face attitude – both personally and sonically – and their unique blend of funk / punk / dance is overlayed with frontman Garyn Williams’ lyrics that show a maturity beyond his 21 years. Joining him are Arwel Brown (guitar), Levi Ball (bass) and Milo Rodell John (drums).
The band are currently writing their debut album, and, according to Garyn, “There’s a revolution happening in a small barn deep in the Welsh hills and it sounds bangin.”
