Today, multi-platinum selling, alternative rockers SWITCHFOOT announced they’ll be joining legendary rock band Bon Jovi on select dates during their This House Is Not For Sale 2019 European tour this summer kicking off on July 10th at Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich, Switzerland.
Prior to this, the GRAMMY® Award-winning band will bring their dynamic live show to various festivals in Japan, Norway, and Sweden and will play headlining shows in London and Amsterdam. For more information and tickets please visit www.switchfoot.com.
On playing shows with Bon Jovi front man Jon Forman said, “I remember hearing ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ at my elementary school Summer camp. One of the other kids played it to me from a mix that he had made. I remember thinking, ‘This is probably the best air-guitar song that has ever been written.’ Pretty sure I’m still right about that one. What a crazy dream to open for Bon Jovi in European football stadiums – we are so excited! After our set when Bon Jovi takes the stage, I’ll be the one side stage playing the air-guitar like I’m eleven again.”
Native Tongue, released January 18 via Spinefarm/Fantasy Records, debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Rock Albums, No. 3 on Alternative Albums, No. 6 on Top Albums and Digital Albums, No. 22 on Vinyl Albums and No. 41 on Top 200. The album also charted No. 1 on Amazon’s Best Sellers in Alternative Rock, No. 6 on Best Sellers in Digital Albums and No. 20 on Best Sellers CDs & Vinyl as well as No. 2 on iTunes Top Albums Alternative and No. 5 on Top Albums All-Genre chart.
