Celebrating over 40 years of defining European culture, Belgium’s mecca of music Rock Werchter has completed this years lineup, adding 30 more monumental artists for what promises to be the biggest and best musical offering in Europe.
On Thursday June 27th, Richard Ashcroft, Raleigh Ritchie, and KidCutUp will join previously announced Bastille, Elbow, Paul Kalkbrenner, Brockhampton, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Ólafur Arnalds, Vance Joy, Maribou State, Bang Bang Romeo and headliner P!NK.
While Friday 28th June will see Robyn, The Twilight Sad, Denzel Curry, SWMRS, Yonaka, Foxing and Sea Girls perform alongside Bring Me The Horizon, Kylie, Years & Years, Weezer, Janelle Monáe, The 1975, Jungle, Khruangbin, Nothing But Thieves, Tom Misch, Snarky Puppy, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Masego, Jessie Reyez, Whispering Sons, Our Last Night and the legendary The Cure and Tool.
Saturday 29th June, Bear’s Den, Beruit, Tourist LeMC, Strand of Oaks, King Princess, Portland, The Marcus King Band, The Slow Readers Club, Donny Benét, The Murder Capital and John J. Presley will be in the company of Macklemore, The Good The Bad & The Queen, THE BLAZE, Two Door Cinema Club, Miles Kane, Clean Bandit, Aurora, SYML, Barns Courtney, All Them Witches, Alice Phoebe Lou before Mumford & Sons and Florence + the Machine take to the stage.
Sunday 30th June, Dean Lewis, Mahalia, Lizzo, Grace Carter, Zeal & Ardor, Amyl and The Sniffers, Sports Team, Deaf Havana and Didirri will close the festival with Greta Van Fleet, Balthazar, New Order, Underworld, Parkway Drive, Mac DeMarco, Rosalía, Tamino, RY X, $uicideboy$, Yungblud, Lewis Capaldi, De Staat, Laurel, Black Honey and a highly-anticipated performance from Muse.
And so the picture for the next edition of this festival is complete. Rock Werchter boss Herman Schueremans comments: “The jigsaw puzzle is complete. The team worked hard at it for months. Rock Werchter 2019 presents a very diverse mix of the best of today with top headliners, powerful rock, singer-songwriters, tremendously good pop acts, cool cats, fresh talent… The line-up includes plenty of surprise and variation. Belgium’s greatest summer music festival takes place from Thursday 27th June to Sunday 30th June 2019 at the Festivalpark in Werchter.
