The latest offering from Lazybones, Fashion Victim, was released last Wednesday, has already seen support from Dan P Carter, John Kennedy, Phil Taggart, Planet Rock and BBC Introducing to name a few.
Describing themselves as aggressive pop, Lazybones have recently seen huge praise from BBC Introducing, with Melita Dennett stating that she loves the guys for their “incredible energy, driven by filthy basslines, pounding drums, swirling Hammond organ and Candi’s in- yer-face vocals”. ‘Fashion Victim’ is a tongue-in-cheek commentary on the mainstream appeal of band merchandise; as front-woman Candi references Metallica and Slayer to Lazybones’ signature ferocious rock noise, the band highlight their annoyance regarding individuals who wear band t-shirts and never listen to any of the music.
