Merge Records celebrate their 30th birthday with a 4 day festival in North Carolina

As you’ve probably heard, Merge Records is turning 30 this year! You may also know that every five years, they celebrate their birthday with a multi-day music festival, and this summer’s event—which they’ve dubbed MRG30—is shaping up to be one of the best ever!
 
MRG30 will take place July 24–27, 2019, in Carrboro and Durham, NC. The 4-day festival will celebrate the best of Merge, both present and future, by featuring an amazing lineup of more than 30 bands including Superchunk, the Mountain GoatsWaxahatcheeLambchopIbibio Sound MachineHiss Golden MessengerWye OakDestroyerSneaks, and Swearin’, just to name a few!
 
Festival passes for MRG30 will go on sale this Friday, February 8, at 11 a.m. ET (limit 2 per customer). Each pass costs $215 (plus service fees) and will admit the passholder to all festival venues over all four days. Be aware that pass quantities are extremely limited, so no snoozin’!
