A ferocious and relentless assault, Ill Minds Vol 2 is BLACK COAST carving a sound that is both melodic and intense in equal measures. While citing influence from Stray From The Path and Counterparts, the five-piece form their own style and push the boundaries of metallic hardcore. Charlie Hewitt’s fiercely spit vocals convey a raw passion, and when combined with his bandmates’ striking skill set Ill Minds Vol 2 is an exhilarating and captivating listen.

Formed in January of 2016, BLACK COAST wasted no time in making their voice heard within an over-saturated UK metal scene. With the release of their debut EP Crows Of The North and a plethora of tours that took them to every corner of the country, BLACK COAST have made a name for themselves as one of the most hardworking and exciting bands to emerge in the last few years.

2017 brought the band an unforgettable year: summer saw them support the likes of Stray From The Path before setting out on a full Japanese tour, hitting some of the biggest cities in the country including Tokyo and Nagoya. The band followed this up with performances alongside GideonIn Hearts Wakeand Silent Screams. 2018 saw BLACK COAST keep up the tireless work ethic, touring alongside wars,Death RemainsThe Family and MSRY, supporting KING 810 andreleasing Ill Minds Vol 1, which saw support from Kerrang! Radio, Metal Hammer, BBC Introducing Stoke and more.

With the release of the pummelling Ill Minds Vol 2 and more touring in the worksBLACK COAST will continue their rise in 2019 and beyond.
