Free Money release new EP

Free Money have dropped their new self titled EP (November 22nd via Buff Records / Communion).

By subverting the lust for materialism, (the Bank Of) Free Money are allowing themselves to adopt alter-egos, banker personas that give them the freedom to shift and play around with ideas of modernity and power.

Buff Records are a new label started by Dan (Tribes) and Blaine (Mystery Jets) and this Free Money release is a joint venture with Communion. The mantra of Buff Records in many ways mirrors the ethos of how Communion came to be: an artist-led community focusing on long term growth and a DIY spirit.

Recent single I GOT U saw Free Money at their most ambitious, embracing the saxophone and a hugely catchy riff. There is a hint of Bowie’s Young Americans in their lust for fun and glossy sheen.

New single Moving On is an epic ode to change showing the band’s skill as songwriters in all its glory.

Along with positive press on the singles to date, Free Money have also received early radio support with early champions including Radio 1’s Jack Saunders and Radio X’s John Kennedy.
