Continuing the build up to their eagerly awaited new EP Falling, Faster which lands at the end of the month, Bradford three piece Stand Alone have unveiled their latest music video for their newest single.
Stand Alone are very proud to present Repose En Paix, which is the follow up to their last single, the very successful Never Stand Alone, which enjoyed extensive UK radio airplay in the Spring and early Summer.
The track is a hugely personal one for one member of the band, frontman Gavin Stevenson, as he explains below:
“Repose en paix translates as rest in peace in French. This song I wrote lyrics for in the days after the Paris terror attacks in 2015. I was at a gig that night myself and the realisation that we could all be under threat at any point really made me sick. It also made me more determined than ever that we should never let these people win. So the song is a tribute to the victims of the night but also a war cry to everyone to stand up for what you believe in and love your life to the full. That way we always win.”

Repose En Paix will serve as the latest appetiser to the main course of Falling, Faster, which will be released on November 30th.
Returning back to Gavin Stevenson, he is very excited about getting their new EP out to all their fans and beyond:
“I can’t wait for us to finally share this EP with everyone. It’s definitely the best material we have ever produced and reflects a big change within the band and an evolution of its sound.
It’s not been an easy ride. This material should have been with people way earlier and we butted heads to the point of killing each other but we got there in the end. We came out the other end with an ep we think is concise and shows us in our true light.
We are certainly better for it and it’s now time to move forward to the next level. See you on the road!”
