Following their signing to Marshall Records earlier this year and the subsequent release of their debut single ‘This One’s For You’ on 22nd June 2018 (via Marshall Records and Eleven Seven Music), London-based alternative quartet Elswhere are proud to announce that they will move forward on their path to success under a new name – THOUSAND THOUGHTS!
“Unfortunately we got hit with a US trademark infringement and had little choice but to change the band name”, explains the band. “However, we feel the name fits perfectly with everything we’re about, without tying us down to a certain sound!”
To cement their new name in the minds of the masses, Thousand Thoughts are gifting fans and newcomers alike with a fresh dose of addictive, melodic and modern alternative rock to cling to. Releasing on 9th November via Marshall Records and Eleven Seven Music, the band’s upcoming video single ‘Perspectives’ sees the band return to their expansive, atmospheric alternative sound – and the return of producer Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Funeral For A Friend etc.), who lent his talents to the band’s previous single ‘This One’s For You’.
News of the quartet’s fresh identity comes as Thousand Thoughts gear up for a short run of UK tour dates through late November with labelmates Rews, taking to the stages of Manchester, Bristol, London, Sheffield and Birmingham.
Thousand Thoughts are keen to take their sound on the road and show the UK what they’re made of!
“We are very excited to be out on the road with label mates Rews. Having only released two songs, it is a fantastic opportunity to take our music around the UK and play to some new faces.”
