Beans on Toast takes on Amazon’s ‘Alexa’

BEANS ON TOAST today releases a searing new punk track: ‘Alexa’, which you can to listen to on all streaming services now… Just don’t try listening with the help of a certain virtual assistant.

Orchestrating an ingenious one-up on the HAL 9000 of our times, in this latest single our cult folk hero unleashes a lyrically on-point tirade on Amazon, Algorithms and Voice-activated Internet. Funny, thought-provoking and anti-establishment to the core, ‘Alexa’ is a razor sharp and rollicking anthem to remind both the machines and the man, who’s really the boss.

Released on 1st November with an animated lyric video (watch here) made from discarded Amazon cardboard boxes, Beans’ next track is ready to take the internet by storm.

‘Alexa’ is the second single to be taken from the Essex musician’s forthcoming 10th Studio album ‘A Bird in The Hand’. Produced by Mumford & Sons’ Ben Lovett at London’s legendary Church Studios, the album is set for release on 1st December. Read the full album PR here.
