Enter Shikari today announced Brighton UK’s progressive-rock / post-hardcore four-piece BLACK PEAKS as opening act, joining support band PALAYE ROYALE, on their massive ‘Stop The Clocks’ UK tour in January / February 2019.
Black Peaks recently released their second album ‘All That Divides’ to much critical acclaim and ended their own run of UK dates with a euphoric, sold out Camden Underworld.
Also announced for the December ‘Stop The Clocks’ UK dates were openers MODERN ERROR, rising young stars of Britain’s alternative rock scene, who will join MILK TEETH as support on all UK dates from 1st December 2018 in Lincoln through to Portsmouth Pyramids on 9th December 2018.
Today, Enter Shikari have also premiered the first footage from their November 2017 Alexandra Palace show. The featured track ‘Solidarity’ is taken from the band’s second album ‘Common Dreads’ which celebrates its 10 year anniversary in 2019.
Frontman Rou Reynolds said: “We chose ‘Solidarity’ as the first track to release from the show as, even after a decade, its message means as much now as it did then and is still a code we try to live by. With ‘Common Dreads’ turning 10 years old next year, while we won’t be doing any special celebration shows as we did with the ‘Take To The Skies’ anniversary, it would be remiss of us to not make some nods in its direction on the ‘Stop The Clocks’ tour”.
