Lunch Date
Whilst the rest of the UK is munching on a cheese sandwich and gulping down fizzy pop, myself and the chosen few have a lunch date with a difference. We, dear readers, are feasting at the YM@6 pop up refectory table. It is laden with glorious treats for us to chew on like a bunch of contented cows in a field.
Kicking things off with “Fast Forward” these boys have brought their own gasoline, the crowd “politely” accepts the gifts offered, as we hear “Back Again”, “3am”, and the veritable crowd pleaser ” Straight to my Head”.
Closing with the frightfully truthful words “you always have your way” it is
a song that lifted me square off the ground and threw me back to the floor mercilessly. Incredible power, incredible sentiment.
For an intimate show, YM@6 didn’t skimp on delivery.
Josh gave an impassioned vocal performance as he says
“We’re just a band playing a few songs for you”
It was so much more than that.
