SLEEP TOKEN have released a video for their new single ‘The Way That You Were’. The track precedes the collective’s inaugural headline Ritual, which is due to take place on 11th October at London’s St Pancras Old Church, with support from Exploring Birdsong. The Ritual will be SLEEP TOKEN’s eleventh live appearance and sold out in just thirty seconds.

SLEEP TOKEN have played shows alongside Perturbator, Holding Absence and Loathe, and appeared at The Great Escape, Camden Rocks, Download Festival, Tech-Fest and Reading & Leeds Festival – an impressive feat for a collective who have only performed ten live Rituals since their inception. The mysterious beings also entered Maida Vale Studios earlier this year for a special performance for the Radio 1 Rock Show, and were nominated in the Best New Band category at this year’s Metal Hammer Golden Gods.
The collective are an entity unlike any encountered before. Nameless, faceless and shrouded in mystery, SLEEP TOKEN defy definition. Genreless and unbounded by tradition, SLEEP TOKEN create music for all, which conveys our most primal, powerful, and peaceful emotions.
SLEEP TOKEN take inspiration from a plethora of artists: Leprous, Agent Fresco, Bon Iver, Meshuggah, and many more filter through the band’s mysterious masked mouthpiece.
