Live Review: King Nun at Southampton’s O2 Guildhall

King Nun played alongside Swimming Girls and of course headliners Pale Waves at Southampton’s O2 Guildhall this week. The four-piece from London, alongside Pale Waves, share releases under the same label – Dirty Hit.  They were truly brilliant and certainly earned their spot on the famous Guildhall stage in Southampton. Having played their recently released single ‘Family Portrait’, that was just a taster to what to come with their EP ‘I Have Love’ set to be released next month. They also played the likes of ‘Hung Around’ with guitarist James Upton taking his shirt off and certainly having an amazing time. Overall it was a fantastic set and a perfect way to open the night for Pale Waves. This band has plenty of potential and certainly know how to get a crowd going and I wouldn’t be surprised if I see them headline this venue in the coming years.
