EP Review: Nowhere – Breathing

Distorted fast-paced Punk. Nowhere’s ‘Breathing’ E.P is all of these and some. Opener and title track ‘Breathing’ drags you along by the ankles as your lolloping skull kisses the cobbles in time to the incessant drumming, fuzzy guitar and the take it or leave it vocals. ‘Seldom Crisis’ follows the same garbled path as it ramps up the hazy sounds recorded through a 1980’s tape deck. The final of three tracks is a cover of fellow Kiwi’s Voom’s ‘B Your Boy’. The track is given a Nowhere makeover and much like the other two tracks on this urgent E.P it ends all too soon. I want more Nowhere, not less.
