Dan The Automator remixes Dirty Heads’ ‘Visions’

Southern California’s favourite reggae/alt/hip-hop band Dirty Heads have teamed up with legendary producer Dan The Automator for a special remix of the band’s latest single ‘Visions’. The end result is a downtempo gem with elements of Dan The Automator’s signature production.

‘Check one off the list,’ vocalist Jared Watson shared. ‘So stoked! I’ve been inspired by Dan The Automator for a very long time. He has been a part of some of my favourite records of all time.’

Dan The Automator’s long and storied career showcases his knack for eclectic sounds and collaborations with artists of all genres. He first rose to fame as producer on Kool Keith’s 1996 album Dr. Octagonecologyst which spawned several hits and was named one of the best hip-hop albums of the 1990s. He continued his career behind the soundboard and formed critically acclaimed duo Handsome Boy Modeling School, hip-hop trio Deltron 3030 and produced the platinum selling self-titled debut album from Gorillaz.
