Newcastle born melodic hardcore outfit Dayshifter are pleased to reveal their new release ‘Serpent Eyes’. The video has had almost 8,000 views since its release and yesterday had its exclusive magazine premiere with Distorted Sound Magazine.
This new single release is certainly a step-up from the bands previous EP release ‘Hopeful // Regretful’; focusing more on moving past the negative things in life in order to grow as an individual entity. A heavy but melodic sound alongside passionate and heartfelt vocals.
In the past twelve months, the band released their debut EP ‘Hopeful // Regretful’ and have then toured consistently throughout the UK, sharing stages with bands including the likes of Oceans Ate Alaska, Kingdom of Giants and Loathe.
“As a band, we are so honoured to be able to put our music out to the general public, make new fans and friends, and play our music to fans in cities both familiar and unfamiliar to us. Our aspirations for the future are simply to be able to continue doing this, whilst simultaneously expanding our fan base and growing within the heavy music scene and community.” states the band.
If Architects and Counterparts had a baby, Dayshifter would be wearing nappies!
