As It Is, who are on course for their highest UK Official Album Chart entry to date with new album ‘The Great Depression’, have announced a special one-off acoustic performance at Kingston’s All Saints Church on December 4th, following their forthcoming UK headline tour.
Speaking of the show, guitarist Benjamin Langford-Biss says, ‘Banquet shows are always very special. I’ve been personally going to their shows for close to 10 years now. Whether it’s acoustic in-stores or two sweaty intimate Fighting Cocks shows in a day, every single one we’ve done means a lot to us and marks each of our releases. This time around we’re doing something a little different, playing a full band acoustic set in All Saints Church. With The Great Depression being a much more sonically expansive record than we’ve ever done we’re excited to re-imagine these songs in a quiet intimate context (and maybe you’ll even hear a taste of these versions beforehand… ) . This will be our final show of the whirlwind that’s been 2018 and we hope you come and celebrate the best year this bands ever experienced with us.’
