Fizzy Blood are set to release their third EP Pink Magic on 14th September via Killing Moon/Alya Records. To celebrate the announcement, the rising Leeds quintet unveil new single Strangers following it’s premiere on BBC Radio 1. The track showcases a darker and sultrier side to their sound. Catch the lyric video on their Facebook page, or stream the single on Spotify
‘Strangers is part of a transition into a new era as a band. We’ve talked a lot about how we shouldn’t let genre define us and this song is the statement of intent. We hope you’ve come by now to expect the unexpected from us.
We put our heads together with producer Alex Newport and what we got was this lil number, which we’re very excited to share. We hope that you can take this for what it is, a sign of things to come, a genre-less future where artists and their fans appreciate music for what it is, and that’s just music man’
– Paul Howells, guitars
Strangers follows previous title tracked single Pink Magic, which landed on the BBC Radio 1 playlist, and CFO. Both garnered support from the likes of DIY, Kerrang! Magazine & Radio, Wonderland, Amazing Radio, Planet Rock Radio, Alternative Press and Fred Perry Subculture.
