The XCERTS announce brand new stripped back and acoustic EP ‘Late One Night’ from out Oct 5th through Raygun Records
The EP will be released as a limited edition signed and numbered 12” Vinyl and will feature 5 brand new versions of songs from the bands recent album ‘Hold On To Your Heart’
Band will be touring with The Goo Goo Dolls (July) and You Me At Six (Nov/Dec), as well as playing this years Reading and Leeds Festival (2nd year in a row) and Bestival

Following a triumphant main stage appearance at 2000trees and ahead of a UK Tour with The Goo Goo Dolls, The XCERTS release an acoustic version of single ‘Daydream’ on 24th July. The track comes from a brand new EP entitled ‘Late One Night’ out via Raygun Records on October 5th. The EP will be released as a limited edition signed and numbered 12” Vinyl and will feature 5 brand new versions of songs from the bands recent, magnificent ‘Hold On To Your Heart’ album with an etched Hold On To Your Heart Rose Design on the flip side.
The XCERTS Murray Macleod says of the new EP, ‘The idea to record quieter versions of songs from ‘Hold On To Your Heart’ came on our in-store run promoting the record. We really got a kick out of playing these stripped back versions and thought we should get them on tape. We recorded the entire EP in one night which lent a nice organic feel to it and hopefully makes for a nice contrast to the album. We have a tendency to over analyse so it was cool just to hangout and keep the session as loose as possible. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it.’

Live wise, following on from their triumphant main stage slot at 2000trees Festival (Sat 14th July), The XCERTS will be touring UK with The Goo Goo Dolls through July, be at this years Reading and Leeds Festival (2nd time in a row following last years main stage opening slot) and then rounding out the year touring with You Me At Six (and Marmozets).
