Recently crowned Fireball’s Hottest Band 2018, Glasgow pop-punks Lost in Stereo are pleased to reveal a brand new single ‘Save Me’ set for release on 20th July 2018.
The track is the first new material from the band taken from their forthcoming EP, details of which will be revealed later this year.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, the quartet said: ‘Save Me is about those times when you get far too invested in a relationship that doesn’t work out, but eventually, after going through a lot of shit, you come out of the other side all the better for it.’
The quartet will be appearing alongside Flogging Molly, The Bronx, and Face To Face on this year’s ‘Fireball – Fuelling The Fire’ Tour which returns for a third year in December 2018, once more celebrating the best in punk rock, hardcore and celtic punk music.
Fireball’s Hottest Band 2019 Competition in association with Kerrang! Magazine is still open for entry to bands around the UK until Monday 16th July 2018.
In a new twist for this year, the initial top three entrants from each city will perform at five regional heats to be held at O2 Academy venues around the country, with the nine overall winners in each city hand-selected on the night by a panel of judges including music industry professionals from Academy Events, Fireball UK, Kerrang!, and a host of specialist regional music websites, blogs and radio shows.
Subject to availability, AMG and Fireball will also provide transport to bus a limited number of each away town band’s fans to their respective regional heats.
From there, the nine regional winners will each perform at a slot on this year’s ‘Fireball – Fuelling The Fire Tour’ in their respective city, with the overall finalist crowned Fireball’s Hottest Band 2019 and going on to play the entire ‘Fireball – Fuelling The Fire Tour’ next year, along with a host of other incredible opportunities and year-long support and guidance from both Fireball and Academy Events.
Previous winner’s Sweet Little Machine played alongside the likes of Reel Big Fish, Anti-Flag and Mad Caddies, and garnered further support slots with Me First and The Gimme Gimmes, Patent Pending and many more, also appearing at Fireball stages across several UK festivals.
The competition closes at midnight on Monday 16th July 2018 with finalists announced on Wednesday 1st August 2018.
