Lost Village Sells Out In Record Time

Lost Village is an experience unlike any other. Bizarre, beautiful and totally surreal, this intimate gathering of like-minded souls has become the talk of those who gravitate towards the avant-garde… Just 3 years have passed since its inception. By May of this year, Lost Village 2018 had sold out in record time.

Taking place in the depths of the Lincolnshire countryside, participants navigate through the winding woodland pathways, uncovering hidden spaces, abandoned buildings, mind-bending immersive experiences and more. From comedy in the Lost Theatre to captivating talks in the Institute of Curious Minds, to lakeside relaxation in the Energy Garden – Lost Village is a journey of a thousand surprises.

From Friendly Fires, Everything Everything, Four Tet, Mount Kimbie and The Go! Team to Dixon, DJ Harvey, Gilles Peterson and Peggy Gou – prepare to traverse a soundscape covering five decades of incredible music.

The Lost Theatre will play host to belly shaking comedy, with performances from Joel Dommett, Russell Kane, Phil Wang, Tom Stade, Nathan Caton, Spencer Jones, Jess Fostekew and many more.

As always, exceptional food will continue to be a driving force for those who enter the woods as Lost Village hosts the first ever Dishoom festival restaurant. This utterly adored Indian restaurant has garnered a cult-like following thanks to a menu so blissfully tasty, that it’s almost addictive. From the House Black Daal to the Chicken Ruby; the Bombay Cafe is going to be truly unmissable.

Boundaries will be pushed and creativity will be unleashed, as some of the UK’s best chefs curate the infamous Tribal Banquets, this year featuring one of the UK’s youngest Michelin-starred chefs Tommy Banks, London’s beloved Hawksmoor and the debut collaboration between Lee Westcott and Dan Cox, presenting their Cook For Syria menu.

Other food highlights include Breddos Tacos, 26 Grains, Caravan and Happy Endings… A food lover’s fantasy, alive and in living colour.

Elsewhere you’ll encounter endless wonderments, from relaxation in the Energy Garden, lakeside hot tubs, yoga, the Circus of Astonishment, panels & talks in the Institute of Curious Minds, craft workshops on Forgers Lane, the old Junkyard and its abandoned video games arcade, the Bureau of Lost and much more.
