Bowling For Soup’s Jaret Reddick Announces The Dollyrots & Lacey As Heartache And Hilarity Too Tour Support

As the UK continues through the hottest summer it’s known for quite some time, that also means that Bowling For Soup’s Jaret Reddick is getting ever closer to his UK return in September. Twelve months on from the original Heartache and Hilarity tour, Jaret is returning to play five shows in the UK on the Heartache and Hilarity Too tour, before going on to play a handful of shows in other parts of Europe.

Jaret isn’t coming by himself, and wants to let everyone know just who will be joining him for the very special Heartache and Hilarity evenings. There will be not one but two special guests! First up will be Jaret’s longtime friends and collaborators The Dollyrots! The Californian bubblegum punk favourites are no stranger to Bowling For Soup audiences, having toured the UK with BFS a couple of times over the last decade or so. Kelly and Luis have just completed a handful of dates on the last Vans Warped Tour and will be playing some shows stateside before gearing up for Heartache and Hilarity Too.

Taking their place on Heartache and Hilarity Too alongside Jaret and The Dollyrots will be Nottingham natives Lacey. The band are currently whiled away working on their eagerly awaited second album. Having been part of the “How About Another Round” tour in early 2016 with Bowling For Soup and The Dollyrots, they’ve hit the road with the likes of Mallory Knox, Motion City Soundtrack and many more. Lacey drummer Dave Pearson is very eager to once again hit the road with Jaret:

‘Touring with Jaret and the BFS family is always the best time and we feel very lucky to have been invited back – we’re excited to rework our songs acoustically to tug on a few heartstrings, and to hear some of Jaret’s stories – none of which we hope are anything to do with him getting us embarrassingly drunk on tour buses and cruise ships…’
