Alresford Music Festival (AMF) is a secret gem and one of the most chilled, family friendly, independent festivals of the summer. Now in its ninth year it welcomes over 4,000 people to a much loved ‘party in the park’.
AMF has a reputation for making families and first time festival goers feel welcome, providing the perfect place to enjoy some of the best and most varied music about. The festival attracts many amazing musicians who delight in playing this in-town, boutique festival on Glastonbury size stages with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, in front of large and enthusiastic audiences.
Five stages are packed comfortably into the festival site which means there is always something to see and dance to. From bands so new and hot they are hard to touch – to established names so cool and chilled they’re perfect on a summer’s night. AMF is renowned for its musically astute choices and the artists put on some of the most exciting, individual and innovative performances of the festival circuit.
With an eclectic festival village and huge dedicated family arena with loads of FREE activities for everyone to enjoy AMF is loved by everyone who comes. The choice of food is broad- with influences from all over the world. In addition the many bars sell everything a festival could need from festival ales to the finest cocktails and fruit juices.
And to make AMF truly unmissable there are loads of FREE shuttle busses which run between the festival and Winchester and Alton train stations throughout the day so you can travel safely and take advantage of the festival’s warm hospitality.
