Progressive alternative Rockers Nothing More’s recently dropped their new single Just Say When and it’s very, very ordinary. The acoustic, late night, early morning, smoke ring blowing, fear of breaking up just overflows out of this painfully obvious release. It’s over, I still love you… but I see it your eyes… blah blah blah = bollocks. Tattooed faux emotion is the music world’s cheapest and most overused commodity, it is to Rock music what plastic is to the ocean. The vocals are superior and the song canters along but the subject matter is in desperate need of a deep knife twist. That said teenagers and commercial radio will probably love it as it ticks every non-offensive, middle of the road, smiling coffee add demographic known to man.
