Essex rock quintet Tigress are extremely pleased to reveal that their Who Cares EP is now available for pre-order. The EP will be released on the 1st June 2018 via LAB Records.
To celebrate the news, the band have released a music video for their bold new single Bring Me Down – the song is available as an immediate free download with all iTunes pre-orders of the forthcoming EP.
Commenting on the single, vocalist Katy Jackson explains:
‘I find it really hard to stay motivated sometimes because of the constant struggles we face, but when I heard the guys writing ‘Bring Me Down’ I instantly fell in love with the sound. I thought what’s the point in dwelling on what other people think, let’s just do what we do, love it or hate it.’
The band will be touring the UK with InMe in May. The first date of the tour is on the 7th in Derby and concludes in Bolton on the 12th. Tigress will also be performing at Liverpool Sound City on the 5th May, playing the Avalanche Stage at this year’s Download Festival and playing Fat Lip Fest in Bristol this July. The band will also be headlining a very special Download Festival warm up show at The Black Heart in London on the 31st May.
Previous live highlights include tours with Metro Station, Counterfeit and Billy Talent and performing at the Vans Warped Tour UK and The Great Escape Festival in Brighton. The band were also hand picked by Green Day to open for them at their British Summer Time show in Hyde Park. Other one-off supports include shows with Alvarez Kings, Fort Hope, Seaway, The One Hundred and most recently – Japan’s Man With A Mission.
Tigress have previously seen coverage from Metro, Clash, Alternative Press, Kerrang! Magazine, Rock Sound, BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Scuzz TV, Kerrang! TV, Kerrang! Radio as well as hundreds of regional stations and webzines.
Five tracks of raw and relentless rock infused with high-octane energy, Tigress will be previewing more new music from the EP over the coming weeks.
