Millicent puts ‘The Voice’ behind her with an incredible debut

Team Gavin favourite from the 2017 series of The Voice UK is back and armed with her own catalogue of impressive songs.

Viewers were ‘fuming’, stating ‘Millicent going is so wrong’ (The Express) after Gavin Rossdale picked another contest over her in a head to head. Never the less Millicent has returned to the spotlight stronger than ever with a wealth of impressive songs under her belt. She openly admits she wants to leave The Voice as a part of her history rather than ride the recognition as part of Celeb Gossip. She states: ‘It was an experience both exciting and scary. I knew it was a great platform, and not one I expected to achieve, but it was thrilling to get some exposure for my voice. It was no exposure for my music though. I was Millicent from The Voice and that was that. But no, I don’t want that; I want to be known as Millicent . It’s just me and my words and my songs. Not just The Voice.’

‘Artists can sing songs that are made to sell records, but I genuinely believe Millicent is singing purely as self expression’ – Musik Magazine

First single Acid Eyes released on 14th April was met with a very positive social media response to the singer/songwriter’s long-awaited comeback.
