In 2016 Fluir (pronounced “flu-e-air”) debuted her critically acclaimed single I’ve Gotta
Have You, which to date has received over 600k streams, peaking at number 9 on
the Spotify Australian and New Zealand Viral Charts and later hand selected as the track behind the mammoth 2017/2018 Myer TV campaign.
Following on from the success of I’ve Gotta Have You’ Fluir released Only One- the track was added to high rotation on triple j shortly following its release and was listed as triple j Good Nights presenter Bridget Huswaite’s top pick for the triple j’s Hottest 100 2017.
Change, as premiered last night on Good Nights on triple j is the lead single from the solo artists upcoming EP. Fragile yet uncompromising, the song explores the
difficulties associated with change and breaking away from societal expectations in order to
regain control.
Whilst Change showcases Fluir’s consistency and aptitude as a songwriter, she has been working closely with ARIA award winning producer Sam Littlemore of Pnau recording her debut EP which is set for release in mid-2018.
‘Working with Sam Littlemore has given me an invaluable insight into the music industry and overall production process as well as having helped me take my songwriting to a higher level’ says Fluir of working with Sam.
