This Curse is taking the metalcore scene by storm with their captivating amalgam of post-hardcore, metal and hardcore topped off with an incredible vocals that find the perfect balance of gutural screams and soaring melodic singing. This Curse is comprised of Ethan Kennedy (vocals), Joey Galletta (vocals/guitar), Blake Van Curen (bass), Branton Shpilevsky (keys), and Jake Fletcher (drums). In Spring of 2017, This Curse released their first single “Quicksand” (feat. on Spotify’s Metalcore playlist and currently sits at over half a million streams) and embarked on their first tour. During that time, they began the writing process of their newly released album, From the Darkest Of Places. The band teamed up with Ricky Armellino (This Or The Apocalypse) and Andreas Magnusson (Fit For A King, Haste The Day, The Black Dahlia Murder) to create an album with a refined approach to their heavy meets scream-along post-hardcore sound.
