Camden Rocks Festival announces British Sea Power, SikTh and many more bands to the line up


Camden Rocks Festival have confirmed more diverse rock and indie bands to the line-up for this year’s event on June 2nd, with the announcement of Brighton indie rockers British Sea Power and cult, progressive metal band SikTh, whose festival appearance is their only London show this year:

‘The last show we played with SikTh at Camden Rocks was an incredibly intense and intimate show. Hope we can bring that energy to this one. We didn’t want to play London for a while but this offer came in and we couldn’t refuse. Really excited.’

These new headliners are joined by Camden favourites Echobelly and Danny Goffey (Supergrass) whose Britpop credentials were spawned on the streets of Camden’s most famed venues.

Also announced today are The Rifles (acoustic) and Eliza & The Bear, British rockers Raveneye and 35 other bands that include: Vex Red, The Lafontaines, The Amorettes, Black Map (ex DEDG / FAR), Rews, Dirty Thrills, Sad Season, The Faim, Saint Agnes, Empire, Loom, AutoPilot (feat’ Andy from The Enemy), Tim Muddiman, Iamwarface, Kris Barras, Man The Lifeboats, Brightlight City, The Luka State, Damn Dice, The Black Roses, Naked Six, L Sicario, This Year’s Ghost, Weekend Recovery, Cavalcade, Wicked Splinters , Leontas, Riverchild, Bugeye, Shea, The Gulps, Via Dolorosa, Nash Albert, Calico Jack, Sarah Vista and the Henchman and Harry Pane.

Camden Rocks have also opened their annual main-stage band submission competition where a lucky act can sneak onto the bill of this year’s event at the legendary KOKO venue. For a band to be in with a chance, submit them here.

North London’s most prestigious rock festival has previously announced Mercury-prize nominees Maxïmo Park, fabled post-punk originators Public Image Limited (PiL), Scottish rockers Twin Atlantic, grebo gurus Pop Will Eat Itself, post-Sex Pistols legends The Professionals, British rap metal band Hacktivist and rock rappers Crazy Town.

General sale tickets are priced at £39.50 (subject to booking fee) and give festival goers access to all 200+ bands and 20+ venues on the festival.

Aftershow tickets are priced at £10 (subject to booking fee) and give festival goers access to the aftershow at KOKO 11pm – 3am.
