Friday marked the start of an exciting chapter for rising Essex band Sun Arcana, who released their debut EP As I Take A Breath… on Easy Life Records (Lower Than Atlantis, Arcane Roots, Waterparks).
‘We are so excited to finally release our debut EP. It was important for us throughout this process to be true to ourselves and write the music that we want to write and we are grateful to the people around us who are giving us this opportunity. Hopefully this comes across in all of the tracks as well, we hope people enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed creating it’
– Tom Harper-Ward (vocals & guitar)
To mark the occasion, Sun Arcana are pleased to reveal the stunning new video for new single When I Turn Cold.
‘When I Turn Cold is our favourite track from the EP, although it may be described as more ‘middle of the road’, we felt that lyrically and musically this was our best song yet. It was also the last track we recorded.
We wanted something simple for this video. We loved working with Rolling Vision again for this one as we feel that the visual content is so important. They experimented a lot more with colours in this one to reflect the lighter side of this song’
– Tom Harper-Ward
When I Turn Cold follows previous singles Fracture, Everybody, Oxygen and Wonderful – which garnered support from BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and Daniel P. Carter, alongside Kerrang! Radio, Planet Rock Radio, Kerrang! Magazine, Rock Sound and Alternative Press.
Sun Arcana are set to make their festival debut this summer at Download Festival and 2000 Trees. Further live dates to be announced soon.
