Columbia Mills are delighted to announce their first ever UK headline shows this April, plus set a date for the release of their album A Safe Distance to Watch.
Surfing to these shores on a wave of high acclaim from their native Ireland – the post-punk quintet arrive for whistle-stop tour that takes in appearances in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow (24-27 April 2018, full details below).
To coincide with the tour, the band have finally confirmed the keenly anticipated UK release date for their debut album: A Safe Distance To Watch. Produced by Rob Kirwan (Depeche Mode, U2, Glasvegas), the record will be available on all formats from the 4th May 2018.
With worthy comparisons to the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Depeche Mode and Joy Division the band have already become a word of mouth sensation across the water with a trail of sell-out shows to their name. Unlikely to be best-kept secrets for too much longer, the band have hailed by the Hot Press mag for their ‘killer songwriting”, whereas the Irish Times have been quick to remark on the band’s knack for “lengthy, layered tunes that leave an indelible imprint.’
