Single Review: Fridge Magnet Mysteries – Waiting For Better Days

Four piece Fridge Magnet Mysteries new single kicks off like Rancid before morphing into early Green Day, Blink182 and anyone many other numerous Pop Punksters from across that there pond. This is not a criticism because ‘Waiting For Better Days’ is catchy, clever and has more pregnant pauses than ‘Call the Midwife‘. The find yourself, hate your boss, anti-hero lyrics are a little obvious at times but the generically strong vocals help cover this very small crack on a wall of A1 Stiffmeister Rock ’n’ Roll noise. With a full-length album on its way this the perfect introduction to FMM.
