Ryan Hamilton & The Traitors announce new single ‘I’m So Glad’

Texas based singer/songwriter Ryan Hamilton and his UK band The Traitors are excited to release their new single I’m So Glad, the first cut from their forthcoming EP Traitors Club – Year 1, the latter being released March 12, 2018.

The EP is a selection of seven songs from the band’s – for want of a better term – ‘fan club’ (Traitors Club), which has been releasing new music to subscribers since April 1st, 2017. Speaking on the experience of this exclusive method of recording and sharing new music, Ryan Hamilton says:

‘It’s been a fun challenge to write a new song a month for the past year or so. I’m really excited that some of the songs are going out in the larger world for everyone to hear. With songs like I’m So Glad and Same Page, you can definitely hear the direction we’re headed in for the next studio album’.

The EP coincides with the band’s latest UK tour, this time out on the road with UK rockers, the Main Grains. Under the tour banner of ‘Young, Dumb & Full of Rum’ Ryan Hamilton & the Traitors are renowned for their kick-ass live shows and Ryan’s hilarious on-stage banter – as Ryan says – it’s likely to get messy!

‘First of all – can we acknowledge what might just be the BEST TOUR NAME EVER! Haha! Can’t wait to come back to the UK, we always have such a fun time. We’ve worked really hard to build our reputation as a great live band. Giving people a thoroughly enjoyable night they won’t soon forget is important to me and the band. This tour will be exactly that, but with a little more alcohol/rum involved. It’s going to get messy – in the best possible way!’

Tour dates listed on the poster above & tickets available from here.

Ryan is currently putting the finishing touches on a country covers album – a joint project with Tony Wright (Terrorvision), before heading back into the studio with the Traitors to follow-up the critically acclaimed ‘The Devil’s In The Detail’. Ryan has already amassed over 40 demos in readiness for the new Traitors record.

2018 really is shaping up to be one crazy busy year for the band!
