One of the USA’s brightest stars Kelsea Ballerini releases her new single I Hate Love Songs impacting April 6th on Sony Music.
Grammy-nominated country-pop sensation Kelsea Ballerini doesn’t like Valentine’s Day. Not one bit. In her new single, I Hate Love Songs, with tongue firmly in cheek, Kelsea pokes fun at amorous clichés and hallmark moments – she hates ‘Shakespeare and Gosling, and cakes with white frosting/Two names in a heart-shaped tattoo.’ She thinks ‘Cupid is stupid, and violets are purple, not blue.’ But ultimately – and unapologetically – she cannot resist those Three Little Words.
Which comes as no surprise as Kelsea married her boyfriend, Morgan Evans, an Australian country artist, before Christmas.
Kelsea plays three C2C Arena shows in March. Next month she tours the USA. The UK dates are:
March 2018
Fri 9th LONDON, O2 Arena
Sat 10th GLASGOW, SSE Hydro
Sun 11th DUBLIN, 3Arena
I Hate Love Songs is one of the many highlights on Kelsea’s latest album Unapologetically. The songs is written by Kelsea, Trevor Rosen, and Shane MacAnally, one of Nashville’s most successful writer/producers.
Kelsea became one of only four female country acts to earn a Top 10 spot on the Billboard 200 Chart in 2017, and landed at #3 on the US Country Albums Chart. The domestic chart success, coupled with “Unapologetically” debuting at #1 on both the UK and Australia Country Albums Charts, more than triples the sales of her gold-certified debut album, “The First Time”.
