The Nick Alexander Memorial Trust (NAMT) is extremely excited to announce that Queens of the Stone Age frontman Joshua Homme will be performing as part of the second annual A Peaceful Noise show in aid of NAMT and Joshua’s Sweet Stuff Foundation at ULU Live on 25th November.
Currently on a sold out world tour supporting Queens of the Stone Age’s number one album Villains, Joshua will be making an exclusive appearance just for us, warming up the crowd for the previously announced Band of Skulls.
A founder member of Eagles of Death Metal, whom Nick was touring with in November 2015 when the attack at the Bataclan took place, Joshua is a valued supporter of the Memorial Trust and we are hugely honoured to have him join us for our flagship fundraiser. With sets from False Heads, Frank Turner and Band of Skulls Joshua’s appearance makes an already legendary night truly unmissable. So, be sure to join us for A Peaceful Noise and More Peaceful Noise at ULU Live on 25th November.
And don’t forget the Official After-Party, More Peaceful Noise – . An honest to goodness indie disco following hard on the heels of the live show, More Peaceful Noise will be a standalone event in its own right, with DJs on the night including The Libertines’ Carl Barat & Gary Powell going back to back, plus more names to be announced, all throwing down the sort of snakebite & black-powered anthems that have made indie nights an utter joy since time immemorial.
