Kill The Ideal release ‘Dangerous!’

British rock trio Kill The Ideal have released the new video for Dangerous!.

The video accompanies the band’s first single from their upcoming self-titled EP, which is out October 17th. It is an action-packed adventure that follows our unlikely hero, a janitor, on a momentous adventure to rescue a beautiful damsel from peril in the form of masked villains holding up a church.

The band explain, ‘The video demonstrates that appearances can be deceiving. We went full on Die-Hard shooting this music video and wanted to create something that shows that anyone can be dangerous if they put their mind to it.’

Frontman Ash Wilson was a victim of bullying in his childhood. He extracts the negative emotions and memories from these past experiences and channels them into his lyrics. He says, ‘I went through hell and high water and ‘Dangerous!’ was the result… It’s gonna stick to you like a leech.’

Kill The Ideal recorded the EP in Watford at Lower Than Atlantis’ studio, working alongside their guitarist, producer and engineer Ben Sansom. ‘Dangerous!’ follows the previous single ‘Know Your Name’, of which Kerrang! Radio’s Alex Baker raved, “If this is a sign to come from Kill The Ideal then we’re all in for a treat”.

This October, Kill The Ideal will be joining the likes of Circa Waves, British Sea Power, The Sherlocks and Gnarwolves at 2Q Festival on Saturday 28th October.
