When it comes to rebellious self-expression, few brands are as much of a beacon of individuality as Dr. Martens. The uniform of choice for gig goers and performers the world over, few items of clothing are as intrinsically linked to music as the iconic AirWair boot.
Embracing this ethos, this year the #WORNDIFFERENT campaign will be bringing three entirely different artists with one uniting factor – a unique spirit of individuality – to three of the UK’s biggest cities for three incredible, disruptive secret shows. With Yxng Bane having already smashed London now The Hunna head to Manchester for a very special, secret show for the Dr. Martens Stand For Something Tour.
The Hunna’s rise to stardom has been nothing short of stratospheric, in their short time as a band together the Watford squad have gone from promising new kids on the block to festival stage conquerors and radio regulars with huge slots at the likes of Reading & Leeds and a massive headline tour in support of their debut album ‘100’. With tunes like ‘You and Me’ in their arsenal it’s no wonder the four piece have garnered a legion of fans and swiftly come one of the country’s most exciting young bands.
The Hunna will be performing a special pop up show on Saturday 23rd September in Manchester. Fans are advised to register their interest here asap to avoid disappointment!
What do you stand for, The Hunna?
‘We stand for a life that dares. A life of breaking down restrictions. A life of people joining together through positive energies. A life of believing together.’
Past Stand For Something Tours have featured the likes of You Me At Six, JayKae, Twin Atlantic, Paigey Cakey, Formation, VANT, Eagulls, Bury Tomorrow, Honeyblood, Tonight Alive, Palma Violets and Lower Than Atlantis and this year the enduring footwear brand continues to support some of the country’s finest musical talent.
