Top 5 bands to look out for at Victorious Festival

Hampshire’s Victorious Festival is set to take place this bank holiday weekend with (25 – 27 Aug) and there is plenty of acts to choose from over the three days. With Madness headlining the Castle stage on Friday for the official opening party, this year is bigger than ever. This year Butserfest has found a new home at Victorious Festival so expect some mayhem with some of the biggest up and coming bands about lined up. Check out below what we think the bands to look out for over the weekend.

Stereophonics (9.20PM Saturday, Castle Stage)

Having played Isle of Wight Festival last year, Stereophonics are still one of those bands you have to see. Formed over 25 years ago in the Welsh village of Cwmaman. With songs such as Have a Nice Day and their cover of Handbags and Gladrags, lead singer Kelly Jones and the band will certainly rock Victorious Festival and bring smiles to peoples faces.

Feeder (5.20PM Saturday, Castle Stage)

Another welsh band to look out for is Feeder who have also been around for 25 years. Their latest album All Bright Electric was released last year and marked a well due return for the band. With the likes of Buck Rodgers and Feeling a Moment, the band is perfect for all generations to enjoy and lead vocalist Grant Nicholas and bassist Taka Hirose and their supporting band will certainly rock the hell out of the festival.

Deaf Havana (10PM Saturday, Butserfest Stage)

Fresh from festivals such as Slam Dunk Festival and 2000 Trees, Deaf Havana is set to headline yet another stage with their return to music getting better and better. With their latest album All These Countless Nights reaching number 5 in the UK charts, you can just tell that the band will 110% into their set as they always do.

Franz Ferdinand (8.15PM Sunday, Castle Stage)

With over 15 years of rock greatness, Scottish Band Franz Ferdinand recently went on a North American tour this year as they announced their new look five piece line up with former 1990s member Dino Bardot on guitar and Julian Corrie on keyboards, synth and guitar. With their debut self titled album being their most well known, expect to see the likes of Take Me Out get people on the dance floor.

Young Guns (8.45PM, Sunday, Butserfest Stage)

Fresh from their headline slot at Bristol’s Fat Lip Fest, the London quintet are set to light up the room with songs such as Bones and Bulletproof and will likely to leave their mark on the festival. With their album Echoes being released in 2016, Young Guns are bigger and better than ever and it will sure to be a treat to watch these play on the night.
