16 year old Callum Gough has organised a charity rock festival titled Burned Out Festival at Bournemouth’s Anvil on Saturday 12th August. The festival is a nonprofit charity event in support of the incredible Teddy20, as seen earlier this year with Teddy Rocks Festival.
Burned Out Festival was an idea that sparked at the end of last year and eventually came to light in April of this year, and Callum went on to say:
‘For me it was an escape from the dark place that I was in, it helped me to get back on my feet and keep moving forward.
‘Little did I know at the time that we are going to make it an annual event. The large majority of the planning and booking took place during my GCSE exam season, which may not have been a good idea but we will find out on results day!
‘Although I may have been the primary organiser I couldn’t have done it without my band mates in Laika; Sammy, Ben and more recently Louie. They have helped with the decision making and helped me to not go completely insane!;
