Punk Goes Pop Vol. 7 out this week

The mega covers compilation series that is Punk Goes Pop is back this week with its seventh volume, which was released on Fearless Records on Friday. You can see two brand new music videos, which accompany two tracks on the release right now. Andy Black and Juliet Simms have covered Adele and Grayscale’s take on Justin Bieber also now has accompanying visuals. These videos come hot on the heels of The Amity Affliction’s Zombie-ridden music video for their re-imagining of The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face. The first track to be revealed from the compilation was Dance Gavin Dance’s take on Bruno Mars’ catchy number That’s What I Like, which has already racked up over a million plays on YouTube.

The Punk Goes..series has sold over 2.5 million albums to date, making it the top selling compilation in alternative music.

Punk Goes Pop’s seventh incarnation also includes covers from the likes of State Champs and New Years Day, as well as rising stars such as Boston Manor, Seaway and Too Close To Touch taking on pop juggernauts Shawn Mendes, Kehlani, Twenty One Pilots, Drake, James Bay and more. It’s a diverse and exciting clutch of new renditions that will no doubt become firm favourites within the genre.
