A few months ago, Bowling For Soup frontman Jaret Reddick announced his first ever UK solo tour will take place this September. Lots has happened since then, not least Bowling For Soup’s first ever UK festival headline appearance at Slam Dunk Festival in May where “BFS” went down a storm.
Now Jaret is hugely excited to announce that the special guests on the Heartache and Hilarity Tour will be none other than The Lounge Kittens! For those not familiar with The Lounge Kittens, Zan, Jen and Timia first burst onto the scene at Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth three years ago where they were invited by none other than Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst to introduce Limp Bizkit on stage with their cover of Rollin’.
Since then, life for The Lounge Kittens has been a whirlwind to put it mildly. A hugely successful Pledge campaign ended in the release of their debut album Sequins & C-Bombs last Autumn. Arena tours with Bowling For Soup’s recent tour friends Steel Panther and Status Quo and festival appearances all over, most recently at both Download 2017 where the overflow at The Dogtooth Tent reached twenty deep outside. The Kittens also spent the past weekend entertaining the crowds at Glastonbury, where they performed a number of times over the weekend.
For their next adventure, The Lounge Kittens are delighted to be teaming up with Jaret on The Heartache & Hilarity tour, which consists of nine shows taking place across the length of the UK during Mid September 2017. The full list of shows, along with ticketing links, can be found below:

What do both Jaret Reddick and The Lounge Kittens think about their upcoming tour partnership? Here’s the word direct from Jaret and The Kittens themselves:
‘The first time I met The Lounge Kittens, I knew it was destiny! The girls are SO funny and sing so well that it kinda makes me jealous! KINDA! Adding them to the tour has now guaranteed nights to remember for everyone! Come see us and all the surprises in store!; – Jaret Reddick
‘Last time we got on a bus with Jaret we had to be really quiet until someone farted… only question is, WHO WILL IT BE THIS TIME!?! Jaret is one of the best people we know so this tour is set to be nothing but fun. And who doesn’t love fun? And stories? And songs? It’d be silly to miss these shows.’ – The Lounge Kittens
For those who haven’t seen exactly what The Lounge Kittens can do, we suggest you check out their pop punk medley – where you might even hear a taste of some Bowling For Soup…
