Mind Yr Manners is the debut album from Leeds four-piece Crumbs and it’s set for release 28th July 2017. The first track to be revealed is Cha Cha Feels, a rhythmic bass-driven earworm dealing with the art of coping with not coping – a theme which is prevalent throughout the record. Crumbs’ unique sound comprises a bumper post-punk/pop party bag mix of sprightly basslines, super-danceable cowbell-tinged rhythms, fizzing guitars and effervescent interchanging vocal lines. Mind Yr Manners was recorded with MJ at Suburban Home.
Since forming in 2015 Crumbs have kept themselves busy releasing music with Tuff Enuff, Swirly and Bowl Cut Records, recording a live session for Marc Riley on 6 Music, playing gigs all over the shop and writing and recording their debut album. Crumbs are: Ruth Gilmore (vocals), Jamie Wilson (bass/vocals), Gem Prout (drums) and Stuart Alexander (guitar). They are particularly fond of pets and puns.
Crumbs will be playing select shows over the summer including Indietracks Festival the day after the album is released, alongside The Wedding Present, Martha, Joanna Gruesome and more. Check out Cha Cha Feels below!
